Movement as Medicine is a trauma-informed yoga series that introduces yoga through the lenses of choice, pacing, and embodied philosophy. The work is structured in two phases:

  1. Open Workshops (Orientation)

  2. Closed Cohort (Depth + Practice)

Women are able to explore the framework in a workshop setting, ask questions, and then self-select into the 6-week cohort with clarity and agency.

Danielle Ho is a trauma-informed yoga teacher with over 20 years as a student and more than a decade of teaching experience. Her work centers on presence, choice, and nervous-system–aware practice, offering yoga as a space for listening rather than performing.

She teaches slow, relational classes that integrate accessible movement, rest, reflection, and simple ritual—creating containers where people can reconnect with embodied safety and inner intelligence.

Danielle is also a CASA volunteer and is engaged in trauma-informed yoga work in incarcerated spaces through partnerships with organizations such as Empathy in Action, extending the practice beyond the mat and into communities where embodied presence and choice are deeply needed.
