"One Thousand and One Nights"
The session will begin with a brief discussion about Yoga Nidra, followed by a few simple breathing exercises.
As the session progresses, the focus will shift from instruction to music and storytelling. The musical sets were conceived as a way to allow the body/nervous system to relax and reset. Each set is unique in its content. No prior experience is required.
Instruments featured: Tabla, Handpan, Jawharp, Kanjira and many others.
This series is currently on tour and has been presented around the world, most recently in Italy, The UK, Switzerland and Guatemala. This event at Yoga Shala by the Sea will be the closing set of 'The Many Moons Ago' Tour.

Sumeet Banerji is a lifelong student of sound, posture and dreaming. His studies in music began under the influence of his grandmother Sushri Shanti Banerji. Her guidance led him to ancient and esoteric branches of Indian music and gave him the confidence to study with world renowned masters.
Based in San Francisco, he continues to develop and adapt these learnings to the contexts of sleep, meditation and subconscious exploration.
